Cross and Passion 7-14 St Marys CBS 0-04
CPC dominated the game from the start with there key players Cormac Mc Clafferty and O.D LAverty showing there worth for the team once again scoring 1-09 between them. The inspirational pair drove the team on and in the end helped CPC secure a vital win against a battling St Mary's side who scored 0-04 in the second half and made it difficult for CPC to score.
The victory for CPC was an all round good performance from the solid back line to the free scoring forwards namely little Paddy-Joe, Jonny Mc Erlaine and Shan Mc Grath to converted all there chances with aplomb. Full credit also must go to the full forward line Ryan Mc Kee (Betty), O.D Laverty and Cathal Connor.
