Cross and Passion 10-15 De La Salle 1-04
CPC were the dominant force the whole way through the match with big Cormac Mc Clafferty (hippy) and O.D Laverty steeling the show once again. The goalkeeper Ciaran Butler (Butsy) was CPC's savour as any hihg ball that came near him he caught it and cleared it straight away without any bother or struggle.
Though the score was high CPC did not have it all their own way, as De La Salle got four wonderful points and a goal back inside about 15 minutes but they could have had many more but the CPC back line of Alex O' Boyle, Sean Mc Bride and Caolan Blair stopped that and cleared any ball that came near them, and so CPC came out victorious against De La Salle that were heartbroken that they did not get to final of the Mac Namee Cup for 2009.
