All-Ireland Minor Champions Visit St Patrick's High School

Tue 6th Oct 2009

Earlier this month in Croke Park, on Sunday 20th September, County Armagh Minors won the All Ireland gaelic football title, for the first time in sixty years. They defeated Mayo to lift the title on a scoreline of 0.10 to 0.7. St Patrick's High School, Keady was delighted today to welcome the eight members of that squad who are past or present pupils of the school. They are :

• Stephen O'Reilly
• Dean Nugent
• Ryan Rafferty
• Shane Mone
• Matthew Green
• Padraig Hollywood
• Gavin Mc Parland
• Rory Grugan.

The Principal, Mr P McAleavey, staff and pupils would like to thank the boys for taking time out to visit the school today and for bringing the Tom Markham Cup. They have represented the school with distinction in the past and will continue to be excellent ambassadors for all of us in the future.
