St Patrick’s Maghera 3-13 Omagh CBS 2-4

A goal from Feargal Bradley 2 minutes from half-time was the key score for St Patrick’s Maghera in their 3-13 to 2-4 victory over Omagh CBS in the BT Nannery Cup final in Glen yesterday.

That score opened up a 1-6 to 0-1 lead and there was really no way back for the Tyrone boys. They did hit back with goals from Sean og McAleer and Johnny Connolly, but Bradley had got his second goal by that stage, while half-time substitute Bernard Mellon weighed in with an impressive 1-2 to seal the win.

A number of Maghera players are hoping to make it a double when they contest tomorrow’s (THURSDAY’S) BT Gallagher Cup hurling final against St Mary’s Belfast.
