It was St Louis Ballymena who prevailed from this game of two halves in this Group A game.
Aided by the breeze Ballymena led 1-9 to 0-2 at half time, Colum Duffin and Niall Kelly hitting three points each, Paddy Kelly scoring 0-2 and Eoin Gillan on target for the goal.
In the second half Kilkeel came well into the game with five unanswered points. Kilkeel missed a second half penalty and had another goal chance saved by Ballymena 'keeper Danny McErlain. Late on in the game they scored a cracking goal to reduce the margin to four points.
