St. Patrick's, Bearnageeha pupil, Donal Walsh, spent a very enjoyable evening, along with his proud parents, at the BT Captains Awards in Lisburn last Friday, October 2nd.
Donal rubbed shoulders with captains from schools throughout Ulster who had won competitions in both hurling and football. Many will go on to represent their clubs and counties with distinction.
Donal also had the pleasure of speaking to Antrim senior football captain, Paddy Cunningham, who was very kind in spending time with Donal and his parents. Hopefully, Donal will pass on Paddy's secrets for success to his team mates!
