BT Ulster Colleges’ All Star & Winning Captains Evening
As a result of winning the BT Nolan Cup, Coláiste Phádraig Captain, Aidan McNeill and Principal, Mr. O’Grady, were cordially invited to attend the prestigious Ulster Colleges’ All Star awards in the Ramada Hotel, Shaw’s Bridge, on Friday 1st April.
St. Patrick’s, Bearnageeha, as Nolan Cup winners, rubbed shoulders with the great and the good of Colleges’ GAA in Ulster, and were greeted on the night by GAA President, Christy Cooney.
MC for the evening, Jerome Quinn, started proceedings by celebrating the College’s recent triumph via a video recording of match highlights and interviews, some of which were rather comically put to music!
This proved to be a massive hit with the audience of approximately 250 people from all parts of Ulster. Indeed, Uachtarán Cumann Lúthchleas Gael, Christy Cooney also made mention of the College’s historic success and the subsequent celebrations in his opening remarks.
Aidan was joined on the evening by team mates, Liam Kelly, Patrick Nolan & Cormac Mullan.
