Defending champions, Coláiste Phádraig, Bearna Ghaoithe, failed in their bid to secure successive Bro. Murphy Cups, falling at the semi final hurdle to Aquinas on a scoreline of 2-4 to 1-3 on a beautiful day at the old 'Ranch'.
Despite missing several players for a variety of reasons, the St. Patrick's lads got stuck into the day's football with good displays against Corpus Christi College and 'B' schools, Keady and Knock.
Displaying the traditional Bearnageeha spirit, the team's efforts should stand them in good stead for the Mallon Cup in 2010/11.
