St. Patrick’s Maghera MacNamee Cup Finalists
Pictured is the St. Patrick’s College Maghera MacNamee Cup team who had an excellent semi-final victory over old rivals St. Mary’s Belfast on Monday past. The 5-09 to 4-04 scoreline brings St. Patrick’s to the MacNamee Final where they will play hot favourites Ballycastle at a venue yet to be confirmed. The league defeat to Ballycastle is the only reverse suffered by the Maghera boys in the competition to date but they will need all their character and scoring ability if they are to upset the favourites. The team is coached by Mr. Ronan O’Donnell and Mr. Pat Brady and team captain is Gabriel Farren.
