All preliminary and final trials in both football and hurling will be hosted bt QUB Gealic football and hurling club on the new GAA Academy and arena pitches.

Hurling
1st Trial : Tuesday 12th November at 12:30pm
2nd Trial : Thursday 14th November at 12:30pm
Final Trial : Wednesday 20th November at 12:30pm
Launch of Hurling XV : Monday 16th December at 1pm

Football
1st Trial : Tuesday 3rd December at 12:30pm
2nd Trial :Thursday 5th December at 12:30pm
Final Trial : Wednesday 11th December at 12:30pm
Launch of Football XV : Monday 16th December at 1pm

4 MacRory Cup Quarter-Finalists: 5 each                    = 20

          9 Other MacRory entrants: 4 each                                 = 36

          8 MacLarnon Cup Quarter-Finalists: 3 each                = 24

          4 other MacLarnon play-off teams: 3 each                    = 12

          4 other MacLarnon + 4 O’Doherty Shield: 2 each        =  8

          Top 2 in each Nolan Cup group : 2 each x 3                  =   6              

          7 other Nolan Cup entrants: 1 each                                =   7    Total = 113

          + any school unable to field at post 16 level (1 each)

  • 4 teams are selected from nominations on each day. Each team will play the 3 others in a series of 6 x 20 minute games.
  • The nominees from each school will be dispersed across the 4 teams.
  • Players and teachers report to venue by 12:00 noon
  • Each team will have its own dressing room and manager.
  • Teachers in charge of teams are asked to bring a set of jerseys(numbers 1 – 20)
