Inis Eoghain picked up their first points in Group A of the Corn na nOg Cup with a surprise but well deserved victory over the Fermanagh College on Thursday afternoon in Castlederg. They had suffered two heavy defeats in their opening games against St Pats Armagh and St Macartans, but their dedication and commitment all cam good in this one. Two goals from Christopher McKinley, one from Aaron Doherty and five excellent points from Matty Porter were the highlights in a good all round team performance by Ryan Davenport’s side.
The win gives them a boost ahead of their final game next week against St Pats Cavan and certainly something to build on for the following year.
