DANSKE BANK Corn na nOg
Corn na nÓg St Michaels versus Colaisti Inis Eoghain
November 12, 2012
November 8th 2012
The Donegal side won 3-11 to 3-5, they withstood a lot of pressure from St Michael’s in the opening quarter, and this is definitely the phase of the match which Enniskillen will look back on with most regret.
Inis Eoghain went in 1-4 to 0-2 up at half time, and were able to pick off scores regularly enough throughout the second half.
Enniskillen did manage to haul themselves in front, but they were never able to build on this, and Inis Eoghain managed to get some territory in the last eight minutes and take the result as St Michael’s went for broke.
St Michael’s are now out of contention, the match between Inis Eoghain and St Pats Cavan will decide the final qualifier from this group.
Christopher Mc Kinley, Matty Porter and Noel Mc Laughlin excelled for Inis Eoghain, while Daire O’Cathain, Eoghan Curran and Timmy Boyd were best for St Michael’s.
