DANSKE BANK Faul Cup
Danske Bank Rannafast, Herald, O’Hara, and Faul Cups
September 11, 2013
57 teams, spread across 4 grades, set off this week in pursuit of the first 4 Ulster Colleges football titles of the new school year. There are four U16 1/2 titles this year, with the addition of the Paddy O’Hara Cup presented by QUB.
St Patrick’s Cavan are the Rannafast Cup holders, St Paul’s Bessbrook won last year’s Herald Cup, and St Brigid’s Armagh lifted the Faul Cup at their very first attempt.
Another new feature for this particular age group this year will be the Queen’s University ‘Future Stars Awards’. Past members of QUB GFC will attend games across all 4 grades and select 20 ‘Future Stars’ who will be honoured at an Awards Night in the Great Hall at QUB in December.
