St Mary’s Belfast joined St Pius X Magherafelt in the semi-finals of the BT MacLarnon Cup building up an early head of steam to see off St Eunan’s Letterkenny at MUSA yesterday.

They were 1-3 up – Matt McKiernan the goal-scorer – before Letterkenny opened their account, and although Conor McEniff’s goal pulled St Eunan’s back in to the game, Lámh Dhearg’s Mark Jordan buried a second goal close to half-time to leave his side 2-5 to 1-3 up at the break.
